When Lagertha, a young Doberman puppy with purpose in her heart, entered my life, I expected to find gear that matched her potential. Instead I found a market full of flimsy, gimmick-laden gear that failed working dogs — nothing was worthy of her paws.

Nothing met the standard. So I made my own and I built Black & Rust.
